Vacancy 1: Counsellor / Keyworker
- Location: Southampton (In-person, residential service)
- Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
- Shift Patterns: Hours include one late shift per week, some bank holidays, and occasional out-of-hours on-call.
- Salary: £26,325–£29,250 (£13.50–£15.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications)

Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Counsellor/Keyworker to join our Southampton residential service, supporting individuals in recovery from drug and alcohol dependency. In this role, you will deliver care-planned counselling, lead therapeutic groups, manage a dedicated caseload, and design risk management plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver care-planned counselling and 1-1 sessions.
- Facilitate therapeutic and structured groups, workshops, and 12-step facilitation.
- Create, manage, and regularly review risk management and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date caseload logs.
- Collaborate with external healthcare agencies to support client recovery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Counselling Skills Level 3/4 or a degree in Addictions Counselling (or working towards).
- Compliance: Candidates must have the right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available). Subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
- Skills: Clear communication, empathy, resilience, and good computer literacy. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.

Vacancy 2: Floating Support Worker (2 Positions Available)
- Location: Southampton and Bournemouth (3 residential units total)
- Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
- Shift Patterns: Weekday structure with required participation in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Salary: £13.25 per hour (£25,837.50 per annum)
- Closing Date: Thursday 13 August 2026
Role Overview
We are recruiting two ‘floating’ full-time Support Workers to provide essential cross-site coverage across our three residential units. Both postholders will work flexibly across these locations to support clients with daily living, recovery planning, and healthcare access.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide flexible, floating coverage across our three residential units.
- Administer client medication safely and accurately.
- Provide robust practical and emotional support to individuals.
- Update care plans and facilitate access to primary healthcare.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and homely residential environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Compliance: Valid Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available). Subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
- Travel: A full UK Driving Licence and the flexibility to travel regularly to our different units is essential.
- Education/Experience: The Care Certificate, NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards), and at least one year’s experience in a care or support environment.
