How It Works:

Once treatment is complete there are several options for your ongoing support. You will be given the opportunity to look at these options through your treatment and decide what is best for you. You can change this at any time, including after you have finished treatment.

Supported Accommodation

For those who wish to stay in the area for longer, or who want time to relocate here we have the Unity Project. This
is part of StreetScene and provides both shared accommodation and single flatlets to clients who have completed treatment. All these houses are substance free. This is independent living in a recovery community supported by staff, who work with you on practical matters, registering with a dentist, registering with a GP, planning a future return to education or work and so on. They can help with establishing a routine outside of rehabilitation that meets your recovery needs. There is our weekly aftercare groups and workshops, practical one to one’s and house meetings.There is also a 24 hour support line to be used in the case of emergencies.

Reintegration

This is a service provided for those who are within easy travelling distance to their rehabilitation centre. It enables
you to attend the rehabilitation centre during the day for a reducing number of days over a four week period. It can
be used for those who choose to move into Unity and is designed to ease people from rehabilitation back into the
community.

Aftercare Groups

These are held once a week on an afternoon. They consist of two parts, a group session and a workshop. Staff are
also around afterwards if you want a private word about some issue and they can support you as necessary. After-
care workshops tend to be around daily life issued rather than addiction issues.

Continuing 1-1 Counselling

For those who move away from the area it is possible to continue with your 1-1 work with a StreetScene Counsellor
for a period of time. These will be 50 minute sessions outside of the usual 9 to 5 timetable. They can be conducted via any online platform or by phone according to choice and can continue according to your needs. Details of this service are available on request.
