Over 25 years experience

StreetScene was established in 1989 by a recovering addict and her father. The first unit, Anderson House, opened in January 1991. This makes StreetScene one of the oldest providers of rehab in the UK.

In 1996 Allington House was opened, followed by Francis House in 2000. In 2006 Anderson House was sold and the proceeds used to set up Cornerways, which is a much more suitable premises.

In 2000 the Re-settlement program also started, providing safe, supported move on accommodation for people leaving treatment. This now provides 48 places for people in early recovery, following rehab.

To provide our various services we have an excellent team of professional people including counsellors, project staff, care staff and administration staff, all supported by an experienced and qualified senior team.
