Vacancy: Night Support Worker

District: Southampton, Hants
Duration: Permanent.
Salary: Starting salary of £6,375.00 rising to £6,500.00 for working six night shifts in a calendar month. A generous pension contribution is offered after probation is completed.
Hours: 16.45 to 09.15 six nights per calendar month. This is not a waking position although in exceptional circumstances this may be necessary to support our clients for which a bonus is paid.

Details: The ideal candidate will have or be working towards NVQ level 2/3 in Social Care or equivalent and have experience of a residential care setting. Some knowledge of administering medication and good computer literacy would be advantageous. We offer both line management and group supervision.
You will also be joining a team dedicated to helping people recover from past
or present substance misuse. You will be based within a Residential Treatment Centre in Southampton.
Main duties will include supporting the service users and dispensing medication.

Vacancy: Keyworker/Addictions Counsellor (drug and alcohol rehabilitation)

Salary: Basic salary of £14,400 - £16,800 part-time (equivalent of £18,000 to £21,000 pro rata full time) plus benefits of up to a further £2,200. Package could include mobile telephone allowance, generous pension contributions, travel allowance for applicable journeys, 21 days holiday rising by one day per two years after two years to a maximum of 23 days. You will also be joining an enthusiastic team dedicated to providing the best service in the UK. We also offer both internal and external supervision and excellent opportunities for Continuing Professional Development.
Hours: Part-time (four days per week) 30 hours per week being three week days and one day flexi-time or occasional Saturdays. The days will be by negotiation.

We are looking for a part-time Keyworker/Addictions Counsellor to work in our mixed gender abstinence based Residential Rehabilitation Centre. Duties include; care planned counselling, one to one sessions, therapeutic groups and workshops.
The ideal candidate will have NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent and counselling skills Level 2 minimum. Group-work, presentation skills and experience of working in the drug and alcohol addiction field are preferred.
Good communication, people skills and computer literacy (MS Word, e-mail and internet) is essential. A full Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
This will include some Bank Holidays and out of hours on call averaging six weeks over the year this year. The employer will consider less qualified or experienced candidates who are willing to undergo further training. Successful applicants are required to provide an enhanced disclosure; disclosure expense will be met by employer.
