Vacancy: Night Support Worker

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset.

Hours: 16:45 to 09:15 six nights per calendar month.

Salary: Starting salary of £6,375 per annum plus benefits including generous pension contributions and travel allowance. You will also be joining a great team on the cutting edge of service development. We also offer both internal and external supervision and an excellent training programme package of continual development.

Duration: Permanent.

Details: The ideal candidate will have an NVQ level 2 in social care or equivalent and have experience of residential care. Some experience of administering medication and computer literacy would be advantageous. You will be based within a substance misuse centre in Bournemouth. Main duties will include supporting the service users and dispensing medication.

Vacancy: Full-time Keyworker/Counsellor (drug and rehabilitation)

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday; times to be negotiated.

Salary: Basic salary of £18,000 - £21,000 per annum depending upon experience plus benefits of up to a further £2,200. Package could include mobile telephone allowance, generous pension contributions, travel allowance, 18 days holiday rising by one day per two years after two years to a maximum of 23 days. You will also be joining a great team on the cutting edge of service development. We also offer both internal and external supervision and an excellent training programme package of continual development.

Duration: Permanent.

Details: The ideal candidate will have experience in care plan counselling. NVQ level 3 in care or an equivalent with experience of working in the drug and alcohol addiction field and be skilled in group therapy and one to one counselling. A full driving licence, access to a vehicle, good people skills and computer literacy is preferred. Duties include working on a caseload and working alongside clients. It may include Bank Holidays and out of hours on call work. The employer will consider less qualified or experienced candidates who are willing to undergo further training.
