When considering coming into treatment the first question people want to know about is cost, to see the actual breakdown of costs please see our cost page.
For those who are privately funded, by yourself, family or employer the next thing to do is to contact Patrick, either at patrick@streetscener.org.uk or on 01202 467661, who will arrange an assessment for you where you will be given the opportunity to visit one of the centres, meet the staff team and peers and we can assess your needs and see how to best meet them.
Should you have funding, or be looking for funding, the cost page is part of the information your funder will want. Other information for funders is available on our resource page.
If you need to find funding for your treatment then the first question to ask is do you have contact with any of the following people?
- A Social Worker or Care Manager
- A Key worker from a local drug or alcohol agency
- A Probation officer
- A G.P.
All these people have the ability to either refer you to your local Drug and Alcohol Action Team, or the organisation that does assessments on their behalf.
What should happen is that you will be assessed to find out what you need to help you to overcome your addiction and your input to this process is central. If you believe you need residential rehabilitation for some reason, for example; you want abstinence based recovery, you need to get away from the area where you have used, you have tried day care before but found it didn’t suit you, then this must be taken into consideration. Generally people are offered a range of services and are given information about the services on offer.
To be referred to StreetScene your Care Manager just needs to email or call Patrick at patrick@streetscener.org.uk or on 01202 467661 for an assessment to be arranged where you will be able to visit one of the houses, meet the staff and peers and we can see how we can best meet your needs.
Should you be refused funding for rehab you can contact the NTA’s Rehab Watch site at http://www.nta.nhs.uk/rehab-watch.aspx and either just log the fact or ask them to look into the matter.
